Flatback turtles nest here seasonally making Broome one of the few places in the world that these rare sea turtles come ashore. Offshore dolphins, manta rays and Humpback whales, in season, grace the warm waters. We encourage you to enjoy the experience if you are lucky enough to witness any of these creatures while in Broome but please keep your distance, do not approach, hold position and/or more back away slowly so not to frighten and maximise the length of the amazing experience.
