The northern end of Cable Beach, beyond the rocks at the end of the vehicle ramp is clothing-optional, offering a relaxed environment for naturists.
Cable Beach is one of the few officially recognised nude friendly beaches in the region adding to Broome’s open, inclusive and carefree Coastal vibe.

Cable Beach is home to diverse wildlife, including turtles, birds including seabirds like Osprey, crested turns and pied cormorants. At low tide rock pools teem with marine life from multiple crab species, starfish, octopus, nudibranchs and sea cucumbers. Flatback turtles nest here seasonally making Broome one of the few places in the world that these rare sea turtles come ashore. Offshore dolphins, manta rays and Humpback whales, in season, grace the warm waters. We encourage you to enjoy the experience if you are lucky enough to witness any of these creatures while in Broome but please keep your distance, do not approach, hold position and/or more back away slowly so not to frighten and maximise the length of the amazing experience.
